Tainan's First Specialty Bar for Natural Wines: NAN Bar 1
Located on the first floor of Provintia Hotel, the bar takes its name from the "Nan" character of Nanyu. The location of NAN BAR 1 is easily identifiable from the exterior of the Provintia Hotel through its white iron frames and lightboxes. Aside from being Tainan's first specialty bar for natural wines, the venue also offers a selection of fine Taiwanese beverages including specialty beers brewed by Yuigui, flavored Kombucha by Zestea, and award-winning cold-brewed teas specially crafted by Tainan’s 60+ TEA SHOP. European-style baked goods like mini croissants, caramel canelés, and madeleines are also available.
The hotel's entrance greenery is the work of Shu Yuan Wu, the principal of "Motif Planning & Design Consultants" and a master of neo-wilderness aesthetics. Designed as a "flowing garden", the planting troughs of bronze tone add a vintage feel. Evergreen shrubs and flowering plants like purple phoenix, dolphin flowers, Crossandra infundibuliformis, Orthosiphon aristatus, Peppermint, Juniper, Ficus microcarpa, and Buxus microphylla var. japonica create a refreshingly cool and verdant atmosphere. Guests can enjoy their favorite drinks from #NB1 Bar while relaxing in the green and shaded seating area. It is also a great place for gathering with friends and an excellent Instagrammable spot, letting all guests forget the hustle and bustle of the city.
